On the nose it embraces you with the warm vigour that characterises our Amaro; on the palate it resonates with enveloping notes of chocolate, pastries and candied fruit and then intoxicates with its unmistakable herbaceous bouquet with a strong core of bitter herbs.

The taste is very warm and welcoming. The bitterness is discernible and the sweet notes are well balanced by a syrupy aftertaste ascribable to honey. The identity of the base is respected and the astringency dictated by the long time spent in grappa barriques is delicate and silky. The bitter sensation is offset by the alcohol content.
